Picture Frame Meal Planner Thing-a-ma-jig

About a year ago I made a 'picture frame meal planner'
and I really did use it
but then the same week's meal plan was written on it for about three months
and I thought...
'If I change the paper...make it a little more cute, I just know I will use it again!'
The before picture of the not so cute meal planner.
Kinda sad looking.  :(
I used paper and stickers that I already had
and put a piece of tape under each letter
that way if I want to change out the paper I can reuse the letters
I'm smart that way
The paper might be a little busy, but I think it's much cuter.
(I'm only a M -F meal planner)
and the magic erase marker wipes off easily with a damp cloth
both boys like that they can look to see what we are having for dinner...
that way they can start complaining right away in the morning.
It's all kinds of awesome :)
I'm really hoping this week's meal plan isn't up there again next week...
I'll let you know if my theory of cutsiefying the not-so-cute meal planner thing-a-ma-jig works
and helps me get more organized in my meal planning.
{In the lower right hand corner of the picture you can see the bottletop magnets that we made HERE}

It's Friday People!

Tomorrow we are staying overnight at a hotel with an indoor water park
the boys are excited
so am I

Hope you have a great weekend!

I saw this on Pinterest and put it on my list of DIY projects weeks ago. I can't wait until I get some free time to actually do it. Yours inspired me!

bahahahah!aaaaa!!!! so funny. you are SO FUNNY Barb! Not looking forward to the menu complaints. I'll give the classic Lynn Rusciano response: "If you dont' like dinner, there's always breakfast!"
